Bittersweet, but I would do it all over again.

Adventures of a suburban house-sister

Most, if not all adventures begin with a hop onto a plane…unless you’re a really good swimmer, or happen to blessed with the ability to teleport — I’m neither.  And of course, spontaneity.  A split second decision.

To be honest, we didn’t do anything exciting or spectacular, in fact I was enjoying leading the suburban lifestyle of a house-sister!

Had the most scrumptious lazy home made brunches.

Fell in love with picnicking at beaches and parks complete with a kick-ass picnic mat with a life of its own.

Went on mini road trips and suburb hopping with the gang.

Exposed our inner “Masterchef”-selves.

Had tons of good food and some awfully weird Turkish coffee.

Paparazzi-ed the birds.

Marveled at the picturesque skies and even managed to catch a rainbow serendipitously.

Transcended time to the wonderful town of Toowoomba where we stuck out like sore thumbs and discovered Instagram was created for Toowoomba.

And of course, the most important of all, hang out with the T-rex 😉

It was an awesome week of doing nothing and yet it was everything.  Time flies when you’re having a good time, doesn’t it?

Miss you much already!!!
